On the location of a first sanctuary devoted to the Virgin(Virgo), is based(established) in 1088, by the countess of Bar Sophie, a priory Benedictine. The church Notre-Dame is built between the XIth and XVIIIth centuries, it presents several architectural styles. She(It) originate built in a Romanic style, is altered in the XIIIth century in a Gothic style. Chapels will be built over time.
