The altarpiece of Repentigny, from darkness to light !
The Association des Amis du Patrimoine de Repentigny invites you to discover the Saint Martin church and its altarpiece, the oldest of the Pays d'Auge, which has been recently restored.
This medieval tradition altarpiece dates from the sixteenth century; its rectangular shape and its bas relief of polychrome wood make it unique.
In 2012, we discovered, in its back, other religious scenes, probably the life of Saint Martin, bishop.
The members of the association will share their passion by offering you a discovery of this rich heritage with a lot of historical insights … and some fun!
