The electrical and magnetic properties of many plots in the municipality of Langon have been mapped since the spring of 2024. The objective is to find, without digging, the archaeological structures buried in the ground. We will present the methods used and the results obtained on several tens of hectares of the village and its outskirts.

This conference is part of the restitution of the collective research project on the ancient agglomeration, launched in 2023, under the co-direction of Aurélien Hamel (Vendée Departmental Council) and Jérôme Pascal (Inrap), with the support of the Langon town hall.
