June 12, 15 pm excursion “Archaeological stories: Palaces of the Grand Dukes and their Secrets” with archeologist Egidijus Ožalas.
Every palace in the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania has a unique history. Some of them were hidden for the printing of coins, others were hidden for hundreds of tiles. The walls of one cellar are still black today from the explosion or their bricks are melting after a huge fire. In others, there are walls of older brick structures.
Duration of the tour – up to 1 hours 30 min. The tour is free, but registration is required.
