Seat of the most important of the six parishes of Pontoise, it was built in the 11th century and testifies to the dynamism and wealth of the city at that time. Started in the Romanesque style, it was completed in the flamboyant Gothic style. It was consecrated as a cathedral in 1966\. Building classified as a Historical Monument by Prosper Mérimée in 1840.
