Opened in 1977 and moved in 1990, the Musée de la Toile de Jouy, a municipal museum with the designation “Musée de France”, is an institution dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the memory of Toile de Jouy motifs, printed on cotton fabrics produced in Jouy-en-Josas by the Oberkampf manufacture between 1760 and 1843\. Located at the Château de l'Églantine in Jouy-en-Josas, the museum offers a journey into the heart of this heritage and this unique textile know-how.
