Exhibition "The history of large ensembles"
In the inter-communal media library Anna-Langfus, a permanent exhibition tells the story of the great ensemble of Sarcelles, but also those of Villiers-le-Bel, Garges-lès-Gonesse, Goussainville and Gonesse. It is presented in the form of two giant open «books», largely illustrated by drawings, 60 photographs and archival documents as well as 4 audiovisual materials, all covering a period from 1950 to 2018. The exhibition aims to explain the history of large ensembles, often unknown, sometimes caricatured, which has deeply marked the southwestern part of the intercommunal territory. You can continue your visit in the large ensemble of Sarcelles, labeled «Remarkable contemporary architecture» in autonomy thanks to the booklet «Parcours-découverte» (free, 3.8 km route).
