The cellar of the restaurant Prunier
Auction house : Tessier Sarrou & Associés
Expert : Ambroise de Montigny
Saturday, September 20 at 2 PM, Room 12
Oenology will be in the spotlight thanks to the spread of the cellar of the restaurant Prunier, nestled on avenue Victor Hugo in Paris. Since 1872, this establishment is much more than a table, it is a discreet witness of the Parisian history, an Art Deco setting of gastronomic rituals, where the great wines have always occupied a place of choice, during suppers after theater, ambassadors' lunches, festive nights... The Prunier cellars, discreet and silent, hosted many jewels – first great wines of Bordeaux, champagnes, spirits – among which a bottle of Heidsieck & Co Monopole from 1907, rescued from a shipwreck in the Baltic Sea in 1916.

In 300 lots, the Nouvelle Étude auction house will take us to the other end of the hemisphere, to the heart of Japanese pop culture. We all share memories of Japanese cartoons, from Goldorak to Naruto via Dragon Ball or One Piece. Since the 70s, japanimation has been an integral part of the culture of children and adolescents.
Nouvelle Étude, assisted by the expert Florian Bourguet, organizes once a year, on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, a sale dedicated to Japanese animation. Whether it’s an original drawing, a douga or a cellulo, seize the opportunity to leave Drouot with a teenage memory!
