BIG SUR arrives at the church!
Our project is to create an artistic musical object (singing/ reading/ guitar) by letting ourselves be carried away by the energy of a place, to create a suspended moment. A three-day residency in the church of Grépiac would allow us to develop this project and to realize a sound and video recording on the occasion of a residency outing open to the public.
Our universe: «BIG SUR EXP is the meeting of a dreamlike musical space and words thrown from the top of the ship of an unconscious traveler. It is a performance that is always unique, linked to the moment, the decisive moment, the present. It is an improvisation, a liberation. BIG SUR EXP invites to the exploration of oneself, to the inner journey, guided by melodic waves and sentences glued, tight, whispered, extracted from a thousand notebooks that tell the opposite inseparable, love in crossbody and our pretty ordinary follies. We sit down, close our eyes and let this gentle sound massage and these messages from the bottom of the drawers work.”
