Having passed away in October 2025 and having served as president of the AGMJ for more than 14 years, Pierre Losego deserved a heartfelt musical tribute. A brilliant pianist and an important figure on the Geneva jazz scene for decades, Pierre led his own trio and performed in numerous ensembles, notably alongside Eric Wespi, Pavel Pesta and Jacques Ducros.
Reunited especially for this occasion, the Pietro Quartet will draw on the repertoire of Pierre’s original quartet, featuring standards, hard bop tunes and a selection of original compositions. An emotional and swinging evening lies ahead.

Disparu en octobre 2025 et président de l’AGMJ durant plus de 14 ans, Pierre Losego méritait bien un vibrant hommage musical. Brillant pianiste, figure importante de la scène genevoise durant des décennies, Pierre fut à la tête de son propre trio et participa à de nombreuses formations, avec notamment Eric Wespi, Pavel Pesta et Jacques Ducros. Reconstitué pour l’occasion, le Pietro Quartet va puiser dans le répertoire du Quartet originel de Pierre, constitué de standards, de thèmes hard bop et de quelques compositions originales.
