Die französische Marine im Zweiten Weltkrieg
Diese Ausstellung beleuchtet die unbekannte Rolle der französischen Marine im Zweiten Weltkrieg.
Sie zeichnet ihre Zögerlichkeiten in den Monaten nach dem Waffenstillstand von 1940 und der allmählichen Wiederherstellung ihrer Streitkräfte auf.
Sie zeugt auch von der Unterstützung, die sie den Landungsoperationen und der Befreiung der Widerstandtaschen gewährt hat.
Schließlich wird ein Überblick über die schweren Schäden an den Waffenarsenalen und Militärhäfen erstellt.
Das Personal wird während der gesamten Tour anwesend sein, um einige Dokumente/Schilder zu erklären und Fragen von Besuchern zu beantworten!

The French Navy in the Second World War
This exhibition highlights the little-known role of the French Navy during the Second World War.
She traces her hesitations in the months that followed the Armistice of 1940, then the gradual reconstitution of her forces.
It also testifies to the support it has given to landing operations and the liberation of pockets of resistance.
Finally, it draws up an inventory of the heavy damage suffered by military arsenals and ports.
The staff will be present throughout the course to explain certain documents/signs and answer visitors' questions!

Ripercorre le sue esitazioni nei mesi successivi all'armistizio del 1940 e alla graduale ricostituzione delle sue forze.
Testimonia anche il sostegno che ha dato alle operazioni di sbarco e alla liberazione delle sacche della resistenza.
Infine, essa fa il punto sui gravi danni subiti dagli arsenali e dai porti militari.
Il personale sarà presente durante tutto il percorso per spiegare alcuni documenti/pannelli e rispondere alle domande dei visitatori!

Cette exposition met en lumière le rôle méconnu de la Marine française durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Elle retrace ses hésitations dans les mois qui ont suivi l’Armistice de 1940, puis la reconstitution progressive de ses forces.
Elle témoigne également de l’appui qu’elle a apporté aux opérations de débarquement et à la libération des poches de résistance.
Enfin, elle dresse un état des lieux des lourds dommages subis par les arsenaux et ports militaires.
Le personnel sera présent tout au long du parcours pour expliquer certains documents/panneaux et répondre aux questions des visiteurs !

La Marina francesa en la Segunda Guerra Mundial
Esta exposición pone de relieve el papel poco conocido de la Marina francesa durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Repasa sus vacilaciones en los meses que siguieron al armisticio de 1940 y a la progresiva reconstitución de sus fuerzas.
También es testimonio del apoyo que ha prestado a las operaciones de desembarco y a la liberación de los focos de resistencia.
Por último, se hace un balance de los graves daños sufridos por los arsenales y puertos militares.
El personal estará presente a lo largo del recorrido para explicar algunos documentos/paneles y responder a las preguntas de los visitantes!
