Free visit from 10h00 to 13h00 and from 14h00 to 18h00.
A true institution dating back to 1890, this study garden preserves 2000 plant species. In the center a garden divided into 32 flower beds where the plants are classified by botanical families. A greenhouse is home to tropical plants such as lemongrass, sensitive or carnivorous plants. The arboreteum is enorrgueillit of a sassafras, an araucaria of 150 years, a giant redwood of 42 m high or a ginkgo female. On the terrace, the thematic garden presents massifs of plants grouped according to their therapeutic virtues. The visit will end in the seed factory where the species are kept in more than 1600 jars of seeds.

Envisaged from the construction of the buildings of the School of medicine and pharmacy in 1863, the botanical garden will be put under construction only in 1889\. Today under the label « Botanical garden of France », it is a real academy of the sorts(species) of plants, cultivated in flat are strained, enriched by an arboretum, watered(sprayed) by an artificial river where develop water plants. In this garden more than centenarian(centenary) is added a presentation(display) of healing plants grouped(included) by therapeutic virtues.
