Originally the garden of Aunt Léonie and her husband Jules in the mid-19th century, the garden was extensively redesigned by Charles and Geneviève Geoffroy-Dechaume in the 1930s in a more English style then with a touch of Italian inspiration for the stairs designed by architect Robert Hubrecht.
