Malagar lives(remains) girondine of the writer François Mauriac, is an exceptional site dominating the valley of the Garonne, the forest of Landes(Moors), in boundaries of a prestigious patrimonial and wine-making region. Writer's house at the heart of a fifteen hectare vineyard, the domain stayed such as François Mauriac, Nobel Prize(Prizes) in Literature, left it in 1968\. Commemorative site devoted to the author of the Knot of Adder or between others of the Notepad, Malagar, Heritage of the Regional Council of Aquitaine since 1985, is also a place of living culture, which proposes from May till October, a cultural season where cross disciplines: music, theatre, dance, cinema, exhibitions(exposures), literary meetings and debates of ideas.
