5 Rue Maurice Ravel, 78490 Montfort-l'Amaury, France
House built in 1907 by the architect J. Morel that Maurice Ravel bought in 1921 and enlarged in 1924\. He is responsible for the interior decoration of the rooms that he has multiplied by dividing them. He composes his most famous works there. The adequacy between the furniture and preserved objects with Ravel’s music is extremely interesting. Also this house constitutes a place of memory in its most material sense of the term. The house has been owned by the Réunion des Musées Nationaux since 1971.
