Die Besonderheit von Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat besteht darin, in seinem Atelier in Bourg-la-Reine eine besondere Farbe entwickelt zu haben: das berühmte "Dalpayrat-Rot". In dem Haus, in dem er lebte, zeigen der Flammenstein im Jugendstil und die polychromen Fayencen aus dem 18. Jahrhundert die Interpretation eines traditionellen Know-how: Keramik, erschienen im Neolithikum!
Eine Dauerausstellung, die sich mit dem Einfluss des Jugendstils auf sein Werk, der Erfindungsgabe von Formen und seiner Arbeit an Materie, der Entwicklung des «Rouge Dalpayrat» und der Keramiktradition in Bourg-la-Reine befasst, begleitet den Besuch.
