Heir of the Museum of the Memory(Souvenir) of the Military academy of Infantry and of Tanks (1925-1940), the Museum of the Noncommissioned officer redraws the history(story) of the Sous-Officier de l' Armée de terre of the Ancien Régime in our days. He contributed to the historic and moral training(formation) of 155 000 pupils noncommissioned officers trained(formed) in ENSOA since 1963\. Totaling more than 285 000 visitors since 1931, our museum possesses a rich and various collection of 4 500 exceptional objects. Holder of the national label "Centenarian(" Centenary) 1914-1918 ", he participates in promotion(class) and in influence(radiation) of the Army in Deux-Sèvres, in Piece of news-Aquitaine(Short story-Aquitaine) and welcomes 11 000 public a year.
Associating intellectual effort with pleasure, the museum is also a place of transmission, of division(sharing) and of reflexion which develops the taste of history(story), the spirit of Defense and of Citizenship, the Duty of remembrance. So, he(it) participates in the mission of arts education and cultural of the youth of France.
Invested(Surrounded) in the «Route(Course) of Success» younger children(juniors) de la Défense as in a tutorial system of closeness, the museum acts(behaves) in favour of the Equality of Lucks(Chances). He welcomes 20 - 25 trainees a year, (the Third level with Doctorate). By its numerous missions and its attachment in youth, the Museum of the Noncommissioned officer promotes beautiful and demanding currency of ENSOA: «Rise by Effort».
Carrier of citizen's, republican values, and military, this Pantheon of the Noncommissioned officers vouches for the democratisation of access to knowledge and to culture.
