Letter to Bill is the intimate encounter
a tenor saxophone and a
electric guitar, a duo where Robin
Nicaise and Alain Soler reinvent
the world of Bill Evans in a case
closeness, silence, and breath
shared. This tribute to the pianist
de Plainfield takes the form of a
musical letter for two voices, written by
long-time accomplices who are
have known and played together for more than thirty years. At the heart of this project,
the art of duets becomes a singular language: without piano or rhythm section, the

de Plainfield prend la forme d’une
