Located in an exceptional site of the hill of the Maures, in balcony on the sea, this abandoned estate was saved thanks to the acquisition in 1989 by the Conservatory of space littoral and lakeside. The landscape gardener Gilles Clément then proposes to evoke the flora and landscapes associated with regions of the world with a Mediterranean-type climate. On the fabric of the old garden marked by the pergola and the large step, and around the preserved buildings, thus arose the gardens of the Canaries (dragon trees), California (yucca), South Africa (aloes), Australia (eucalyptus and acacia trees), subtropical Asia (bamboo), New Zealand (tree ferns), from arid America (cacti) and subtropical America (nolines), from Chile (puyas), from the Mediterranean (forest, scrubland, maquis). Once past the hotel de la Mer, the discovery of the Mediterranean Garden begins, among plants accompanied but not constrained by gardeners attentive to their evolution.

On the coastal road between Le Lavandou and Saint-Tropez. 2 free parking spaces: avenue Jacques Chirac and avenue Courmes. Bus: Line 878 Toulon / Hyères (center or airport) / Le Lavandou / St-Tropez. Stop in front of the Rayol Tourist Office then pedestrian path to the Garden (about 15 minutes).
