The Wooden Wolf ist das Projekt des Songwriters und Gitarristen Alex Keiling, dessen Welt intimistisches Folk, Poesie und emotionale Intensität vereint. Je nach Konzert wird er von einem Cello, einem Kontrabass, einer Slide-Gitarre oder einem Schlagzeug begleitet und bietet eine freie, einfühlsame und zutiefst vertraute Musik an.
Beeinflusst von Leonard Cohen, Will Oldham oder Jason Molina, komponiert The Wooden Wolf ein gereinigtes Folk, in dem Stille, Raum und Melodien eine zentrale Rolle spielen.
Seine Arbeit wurde von Les Inrockuptibles, Rolling Stone, France Inter und FIP gelobt, die die Stärke seiner Schrift und die Einzigartigkeit seines Universums hervorheben.
