As part of the European Heritage Days, La Cité du Cinéma opens its doors to the public. Over two days, enjoy a free programme featuring concerts, contemporary dance performances, immersive theatre happenings, workshops and participatory experiences, and discover this new cultural and events destination in Greater Paris with family or friends.
Paris Dance Project, which takes up residence at La Cité du Cinéma this September, will present two highlights of contemporary choreography. In We Gather in the Embers of the Noise That Burns, choreographer Idio Chichava brings together dance, voice and presence in an immersive performance that unfolds as a collective, sensory and almost ritual experience. In Étrangler le temps, created by Emmanuelle Huynh and Boris Charmatz inspired by Ravel's Boléro, movement and music stretch time, inviting audiences into a suspended moment.
