Quinta Villar d'Allen, Porto, Portugal
Rua do Freixo, 194
Quinta de Villar d'Allen is the last living example of the 19th century bourgeoisie properties nearby Porto.
This has been the Allen family’s mansion for more than 187 years, a family with British origins, deeply involved in Porto and Port Wine, dating back to 1701.
In the 5 hectares of garden and forest, you can breathe harmony and tranquility among several centenary trees and a collection of more than 600 camellias. The house, whose atmosphere is still in the 1850s, brings together portraits of 6 generations of Allens, in addition to various historical objects from the family and the country.
