Historical importance of this decision-making centre of the First World War, an interesting example of a 19th century residence in the Pays de Somme, which has rich archaeological potential linked to a castral village located near the Roman road. Castle of medieval origin, rebuilt in the 17th century and modified in the 19th century. The central body in brick and stone of the seventeenth century was raised from an attic floor in the nineteenth century. It is confined to semicircular towers, whose bases are the ultimate witnesses of the medieval castle. To the north and south, two low wings were built around 1830-1840 in the extension of the central body. At the same time, a low-pitched roof concealed by a balustrade and an English park. Most of the interior decorations date from the 19th century, in particular the panelling of the reception rooms on the ground floor and magnificent marquetry parquet floors.
