- Das Musée Hèbre befindet sich in einem ehemaligen Herrenhaus aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, das 2006 vom Architekten Pierre-Louis Faloci renoviert wurde und das Museum für Kunst und Geschichte sowie den Denkmalsdienst vereint.
- Es beherbergt das Interpretationszentrum für Architektur und Kulturerbe, das die Entwicklung von Rochefort nachzeichnet. Man kann dort insbesondere ein Reliefrelief von 1835 entdecken, das vom Ingenieur Pierre-Marie Touboulic geschaffen wurde.
- Das Museum zeigt auch eine reiche Sammlung von Gemälden, zeitgenössischer Kanakischer Kunst und australischer Aborigines-Kunst, darunter eine bedeutende Serie von Bildern auf der Rinde von Arnhem Land, die nach der des Musée du Quai Branly zu einer der bemerkenswertesten in Frankreich gehört.
- Die Kabine der Fregatte La Flore, die 2023 rekonstruiert wurde, erinnert an Pierre Lotis erste Reise in den Pazifik. Sie zeugt von ihrer Verbindung zur Osterinsel und präsentiert Faksimiles von Objekten sowie Zeichnungen, die von dieser Gründungsreise inspiriert sind.

- Housed in a former mansion of the eighteenth century, restructured in 2006 by architect Pierre-Louis Faloci, the Hèbre museum brings together the Museum of Art and History and the heritage department.
- It houses the Interpretation Center of Architecture and Heritage, which traces the evolution of Rochefort. We can notably discover a relief plan of 1835 made by the engineer Pierre-Marie Touboulic.
- The museum also presents a rich collection of paintings, contemporary Kanak art and Aboriginal art from Australia, including an important series of paintings on bark from Arnhem Land, one of the most remarkable in France after that of the Quai Branly Museum.
- The cabin of the frigate La Flore, reconstituted in 2023, evokes the first voyage of Pierre Loti in the Pacific. It bears witness to its link with Easter Island and presents facsimiles of objects as well as drawings inspired by this founding journey.

- Situato in un antico palazzo del XVIII secolo, ristrutturato nel 2006 dall'architetto Pierre-Louis Faloci, il museo Hèbre riunisce il museo d'arte e di storia e il servizio del patrimonio.
- Ospita il Centro di interpretazione dell'architettura e del patrimonio, che ripercorre l'evoluzione di Rochefort. Si può in particolare scoprire un piano a rilievo del 1835 realizzato dall'ingegnere Pierre-Marie Touboulic.
- Il museo presenta anche una ricca collezione di dipinti, arte kanak contemporanea e arte aborigena australiana, tra cui una serie importante di dipinti sulla corteccia della Terra di Arnhem, uno dei più notevoli in Francia dopo quello del Musée du Quai Branly.
- La cabina della fregata La Flore, ricostituita nel 2023, evoca il primo viaggio di Pierre Loti nel Pacifico. Testimonia il suo legame con l'Isola di Pasqua e presenta dei facsimile di oggetti e disegni ispirati da questo viaggio fondatore.
