The Classe-musée de la Plaine was inaugurated in 2000. It is located in the 8th arrondissement of Lyon and operates thanks to the volunteer volunteers who run it.
Our museum occupies a classroom in the Jean Macé school, dating from 1887, by agreement with the city of Lyon.
In addition to the conservatory aspect of school objects and materials, the Class-Museum receives about forty classes during the school year, mainly first and second graders from Lyon and the Lyon Metropolis, and offers them visits and workshops. (observation, discovery of the student’s equipment, ink writing, quizzes...) in connection with their school program.

The Plaine Class-Museum was inaugurated in 2000\. It is located in the 8th district of Lyon and operates thanks to the volunteers who animate it. Our museum occupies a classroom in the Jean Macé school, dating from 1887, by agreement with the city of Lyon. In addition to the conservation aspect of objects and school materials, the Class-museum receives about forty classes during the school year, mainly CP and CE1 coming from Lyon and the Métropole de Lyon, offering them visits and workshops (observation, discovery of school material, writing in ink, quizzes, etc.) in connection with their school program.
