Bevor man die Pflanzen schützt, muss man sie kennen. Diese Animation stellt die drei Werkzeuge vor, die eingesetzt werden, um dieses Wissen zu erwerben: die Feldforschung, die botanische Bibliographie und die Herbarien.
Durch die Zusammenführung dieser verschiedenen Quellen identifizieren Botaniker Arten und produzieren die notwendigen Daten und Erkenntnisse, um die Entwicklung ihrer Verbreitung zu verfolgen und die Erhaltungsmaßnahmen zu leiten.
Die Besucher können sich mit der Bestimmung einiger Pflanzen vertraut machen und entdecken eCalluna, eine Online-Anwendung, um die geografische Verteilung der Pflanzen in Westfrankreich zu überprüfen und die Entwicklung ihrer Präsenz im Laufe der Zeit und auf verschiedenen geografischen Skalen zu verfolgen.

Before protecting plants, you need to know them. This animation presents the three tools used to acquire this knowledge: field surveys, botanical bibliography and herbaria.
By combining these different sources, botanists identify species and produce the data and knowledge needed to monitor their distribution and guide conservation actions.
Visitors will be able to learn about the determination of a few plants and discover eCalluna, an online application to consult the geographical distribution of plants in Western France, and follow the evolution of their presence over time and at different geographic scales.
