Mountaneô and the hydroelectric power plant of Orlu
General presentation Mountaneô is a playful and immersive museographic space located in the Ariège Pyrenees, intended for all ages. It invites you to discover the mountain, its riches and its secrets through an interactive experience stimulating all the senses.
The proposed activities:
1. The museographic space Discovery of water, hydraulic energy and industry in the Orlu valley.
2. The Hydrogame An immersive and interactive 20-minute game in which visitors take on a team challenge against the clock to better understand the challenges of hydraulic energy.
3. The playful spaces General zone: games that stimulate reflection and the senses Children’s zone (3-12 years): simple approach to the water cycle and mountain biodiversity
4. The house of the reserve Immersive journey to discover the natural environments, fauna and flora of the Orlu reserve, with sensory experiences.

Acceso

Mountaneô - La Forge 09110 Orlu From Toulouse: Take direction Foix / Andorra by the RN 20 or the A66 to Ax-les-Thermes. Cross Ax-les-Thermes, direction Andorra. At the exit of Ax-les-Thermes, just before the Pont d'Espagne, turn left onto the RD22 towards "Orgeix / Orlu / Vallée d'Orlu". Follow the RD22 to Orlu, cross the village to the "Forges d'Orlu". Paid parking on site
