The church, whose current state dates back to the 12th century, underwent major transformations in the 14th and 15th centuries. At that time, a defense tower was built above the chevet, and an intermediate vault allowed the development of a refuge-room.
Inside, one can observe a bas-relief, a vestige of the 18th century altarpiece, representing the Virgin emerging from the tomb, surrounded by angels.
