Im Jahr 1863 in der Gemeinde Auderville erbaut, kommuniziert er mit Hilfe eines Mastes mit beweglichen und verstellbaren Armen. Der Turm wurde 1908 erhöht, um die Erkennung zu verbessern. 1945 erlitt er erhebliche Schäden; die Wachkammer wurde vollständig von einer deutschen Batterie zerstört, die auf Aurigny Widerstand leistete.
Vom Sonnenaufgang bis zum Sonnenuntergang beobachtet er einen dichten maritrischen Verkehr. Strömungen, Winde, Riffe und Hochseeflächen machen diesen Bereich zu einem sehr unfallträchtigen Gebiet.
Das Semaphore genießt ein Sichtfeld so nah wie möglich an der Küste, bei schönem Wetter ist es möglich, bis zu 15 nautischen Metern weit zu sehen, also etwa 25 km.

Built in 1863 in the town of Auderville, it communicates using a mast with articulated and adjustable arms. The tower was raised in 1908 to improve detection. It suffered significant damage in 1945; the watch chamber was completely destroyed by a German battery that resisted on Alderney.
From sunrise to sunset, he monitors a dense maritime traffic. Currents, winds, reefs and shoals make it a very accident-prone area.
The semaphore benefits from a field of view as close as possible to the coast, in good weather it is possible to see up to 15 nautical miles, or about 25km.

Costruito nel 1863 nel comune di Auderville, comunica con l'aiuto di un montante munito di braccio articolato e orientabile. La torre fu innalzata nel 1908 per migliorare il rilevamento. Subì gravi danni nel 1945, quando la camera di guardia venne completamente distrutta da una batteria tedesca che resistette ad Aurigny.
Dal sorgere del sole al tramonto, osserva un traffico marittimo denso. Correnti, venti, scogliere e fondali alti ne fanno un'area molto accidentata.
Il semaforo gode di un campo visivo più vicino alla costa; con il bel tempo è possibile vedere fino a 15 nautici, ovvero circa 25 km.

Construit en 1863 sur la commune d'Auderville, il communique à l'aide d'un mât muni de bras articulé et orientable. La tour est surélevé en 1908 pour améliorer la détection,Il subit d'important dégâts en 1945, la chambre de veille est totalement détruite par une batterie Allemande qui résiste sur Aurigny.
Du lever au coucher du soleil, il surveille un trafic maritrime dense. Courants, vents, récifs et hauts fonds en font un secteur très accidentogène.
Le sémaphore bénéficie d'un champ de vue au plus près de la côte, par beau temps il est possible d'y voir jusqu'à 15 nautiques, soit environ 25km.

La torre fue elevada en 1908 para mejorar la detección, sufrió importantes daños en 1945, y la cámara de vigilancia fue totalmente destruida por una batería alemana que resistió en Aurigny.
Desde el amanecer hasta el atardecer, vigila un tráfico marítimo denso. Las corrientes, los vientos, los arrecifes y los altos fondos hacen de él un sector muy accidentado.
El semáforo goza de un campo de visión lo más cerca posible de la costa, en buen tiempo es posible ver hasta 15 náuticas, o unos 25 km.
