On the verge of splitting up with his partner, with whom he lives in Nancy, 49-year-old Léo learns of the death of his biological father, whom he never knew. Whilst waiting for an appointment with a solicitor in Italy, he spends a few days in Paris, where he lived when he was younger. From conversations with his activist daughter to encounters with ghosts from his past, he questions his relationship with the world and, above all, his relationship with women. Has he been fair, respectful and loving?

Sur le point de se séparer de sa compagne avec qui il vit à Nancy, Léo, 49 ans, apprend la mort de son père biologique qu’il n’a jamais connu. Dans l’attente d’un rendez-vous avec un notaire en Italie, il passe quelques jours à Paris où il a vécu plus jeune. De discussions avec sa fille activiste en retrouvailles avec des fantômes de son passé, il interroge son rapport au monde et surtout sa relation aux femmes. A-t-il été droit, respectueux, aimant ?
