Go behind the scenes of the Departmental Archives: you do not yet know what is there? Come and discover it!
The Departmental Archives collect, classify, preserve and communicate the documents that constitute the written heritage of the department.
During this heritage weekend, the Archives team takes you on a tour of the workspaces and conservation areas usually closed to the public: how do we select the documents to be preserved? What is the daily life of an archivist? How are documents kept?
You will find the answers to these questions during the visit.
A selection of remarkable documents will be presented to you after the visit.
Visit departures at 14:15, 15:15 and 16:15.
Visit duration: 45 minutes-1 hour approx.
The entire tour takes place on the ground floor of the building. The catalogues of the Departmental Archives and the issues of the Cahiers Haut-Marnais will be available for sale.
