Radar Station 44 A symbol of the museum, the Würzburg-Riese (giant) radar was present on the site in 1944\. Thanks to its parabola of 7.5 m diameter, it allowed to pursue planes up to 60 km.
The Radar Museum, the only radar site on the D-Day beaches, played a major role during the Second World War.
