On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Conseil d'Architecture, d'Urbanisme et de l'Environnement du Calvados (CAUE) offers you its second landscape walk, on the Peninsula of Caen.

CAUE du Calvados
This second walk will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 10 am to 11:45 am.
The Peninsula of Caen, territory in transition will be in the spotlight during this walk.
Starting from the Grande Pelouse, a stroll on foot will make you discover the different landscapes of the Presqu'île. It will be necessary to understand its evolution, its industrial-port history until its transformation into a habitable and inhabited island, surrounded by the Orne and its canal.
Territory of urban experiments, you will have the opportunity to discover new citizen initiatives and new uses that are developing on the Peninsula.
