Exhibition: from Place Royale to Place de la République
Four centuries of history of the city of Caen (1575-1975) In 2021, the archaeological service of the Calvados Department searched the ruins of the old town hall of Caen, then located Place de la République, destroyed by bombing in the summer of 1944. From the result of this excavation, the exhibition invites you to discover the metamorphoses of this district of Caen over time.
