Saturday 21 September 2024, 3:30 pm, take part in a conference by Caroline Le Mao, professor of modern history at the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne-Laboratoire CEMMC (Centre d'études des mondes moderne et contemporain).
Lecturer in modern history at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne, Caroline Le Mao is a 17th century French specialist. She has published several works related to her thesis on the parliament of Bordeaux and its magistrates at the time of Louis XIV. Her research has focused on maritime history, on which she has published a synthesis entitled «Maritime port cities in modern France. 16th-18th centuries” (Collection U, Colin Edition, 2015).
