The association Kadam Tcheu Ling Bordeaux opens the doors of its Buddhist temple of Tibetan obedience to you on the occasion of the European Heritage Days.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., come and discover this 200 m2 place of practice and meditation. You can admire many statues of Buddha, as well as a remarkable collection of thangkas, traditional Buddhist paintings, among the most important in Aquitaine. Volunteers will be present to answer your questions and introduce you to the history of the place, the Tibetan culture and the main concepts of Buddhism.
At 5:00 pm, you can attend a lecture by Amshi Bumchung entitled "Tibetan Medicine: Healing the Body and Mind". Trained in the Tibetan medical tradition and former of the Men-Tsee-Khang, the Institute of Medicine and Tibetan Astrology of Tibet and India, he will present the foundations of this ancient medicine, his vision of health and ways to promote a harmonious aging.

The Tibetan Buddhist center Kadam Tcheu Ling invites you to discover its temple of more than 200 m2, rich of numerous statues of Buddhas as well as one of the largest collections of Thankas (traditional Buddhist paintings) of Aquitaine. Admission is free and without registration.
A Buddhist centre and temple of an exclusively voluntary lay community, managed by a board of directors elected each year, the Institute follows the path opened by the Buddha transmitted by our founder the Venerable Dagpo Rimpoche and our other Masters. Through study, reflection and meditation, we wish to share Buddhism in its Mahayana form with all those who, Buddhists as well as non-Buddhists, want to manage their difficulties inseparable from human existence, while developing each at its own pace, qualities and potentials for our happiness and that of all other beings.
