Neo-Mythologies
-Syqlone, Marwan Tarek, Saphir Belkheir, Mohamed Bouriri-
A mythological rave between Arab-Amazigh heritage and future electronics
To conclude the opening sequence of the Mediterranean Season, on May 24, 2026, the Le Bon Air Festival welcomes Neo-Mythologies to the Petit Cab, a multidisciplinary creation by Syqlone, Marwan Tarek, Saphir Belkheir and Mohamed Bouriri, between Marseille, Morocco and Egypt.
At the origin of the part, Syqlone writes a tale inspired by Persian mythology, philosophy, and poetry, to weave a founding narrative that crosses cultures and eras. From this story, she composed an original music that structures the piece into seven tableaux.
Neo-Mythologies questions the contemporary fabrication of collective narratives through the prism of bodies, images and music. The project does not tell myths: it observes how they circulate, transform and replay themselves today.
An immersive performance mixing live music, dance and video to bring out the mythologies of the contemporary Mediterranean.
