To end the weekend in force, we propose to revive the old municipal boxing hall: The Ring!
Founded at the end of the First World War, the Ring, boxing club of Pantin, is directed by Maurice Guérault. The adventure began modestly in a wooden hut at the Quatre-Chemins before the construction and development of a municipal hall, behind the conference room at 42 (currently Jacques-Brel Hall), where three rings were built. With a very good reputation, the Ring de Pantin is a high place of training and training between the two wars and until the 1950s where illustrious boxers exercised their noble art. Program of the day: 14h-18h: initiation to the French boxing savate and the combat cane, activities for children, presentation of an exhibition on the history of boxing in Pantin. Continuous broadcast of the documentary Marcel Cerdan, a French legend. 14h30: demonstration of French boxing savate by Impact93 Pantin. 16h: demonstration of combat cane by Impact 93 Pantin. 18h: screening of the film Million Dollar Baby by Clint Eastwood (2004).
