With the soloists of the Concert d'Astrée Phare de la Renaissance italienne, alongside Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael was a painter, draftsman, architect … but not a composer. However, he is a product of an era. From the villanelle to the frottole, from the madrigal, until the blossoming of the bel canto, two virtuosos of baroque art, the New Zealand soprano Madison Nonoa and the luthist Quito Gato retrace in music this time of all possibilities, and allow the painting and music to respond. In partnership with the Opéra de Lille Free visit of the exhibition Experience Raphaël from 18:00

Avec les solistes du Concert d’Astrée
Phare de la Renaissance italienne aux côtés de Michel Ange et de Léonard de Vinci, Raphaël fut peintre, dessinateur, architecte … mais pas compositeur. Toutefois, on reconnaît en lui le produit d’une époque. De la villanelle à la frottole, du madrigal, jusqu’à l’épanouissement du bel canto, deux virtuoses de l’art baroque, la soprano néo-zélandaise Madison Nonoa et le luthiste Quito Gato retracent en musique ce temps de tous les possibles, et permettent à la peinture et à la musique de se répondre.

Met de solisten van het Concert d'Astrée Phare de la Renaissance italienne, naast Michelangelo en Leonardo da Vinci, was Raphael schilder, tekenaar, architect … maar geen componist. Hij is echter een product van een tijdperk. Van de villanelle tot de frottole, van de madrigal, tot de bloei van de bel canto, twee virtuoos van barokke kunst, de Nieuw-Zeelandse sopraan Madison Nonoa en de luthist Quito Gato retraceren in muziek deze tijd van alle mogelijkheden, en laten het schilderij en de muziek reageren. In samenwerking met de Opéra de Lille Gratis bezoek van de tentoonstelling Ervaar Raphaël vanaf 18:00 uur
