Gerestaureerd en ingehuldigd in oktober 2024, is de tak van Croix, voormalig dode arm van het Roubaix kanaal, een voorbeeld van de natuur hersteld. Fietswegen, groenwegen en natuurlijke ruimtes maken het al een gastvrije plek voor veel dieren en kleurrijke flora.
