Through iconic songs, original dialogue and evocative staging, their stories intertwine as they navigate hope, loneliness, reinvention and the universal search for belonging.
Set against the backdrop of Geneva—a city that welcomes people from around the world—the production explores what it means to arrive somewhere new, to lose yourself, and ultimately to discover that home is not a destination, but something we create together.

amateurs, « Soundtrack: Finding Home » aborde la question de
l’intégration et de l'appartenance : des personnages fraîchement
arrivés à Genève cherchent leurs marques dans une ville qui leur est
inconnue.
Au gré d'explorations contées, chantées et chorégraphiées, le
spectateur y reconnait une réalité universelle : la difficulté de trouver
sa place, le sentiment d'exil et la recherche d'identité.
À travers des tableaux mêlant monologues, chant et mouvements, la
relation entre le sujet et son environnement, tantôt hostile, tantôt
bienveillant, constitue le coeur de ce projet artistique. La ville devient
elle-même un personnage à part entière qui interroge l’arrivant et lui
répond. Peu à peu, les trajectoires se croisent et une autre forme
d'appartenance émerge, un lien qui se construit au fil des expériences.
