On November 22 and 23, 2025, La Piscine invites you to discover the event exhibition with your family Odette Pauvert. Painting as an ambition in the time of Art Deco
Unjustly forgotten, Odette Pauvert (1903-1966) experienced a meteoric rise in the Roaring Twenties. In 1925, she was the first woman to win the Grand Prix de Rome in painting, a supreme consecration for any artist destined for an official career. This exhibition follows the singular itinerary of an artist who, from Paris to Rome via Spain or Greece, pursues throughout her career a resolutely classical and decorative ambition.

Art Practice Workshops - 2nd floor, 2-5:30 pm:
Each workshop is previously accompanied by awareness-raising through the works. No prior registration, subject to availability.

A good front-facing portrait for frontality. A sharp and precise contour for the face. A tight framing for an Italian bust. A colorful work on the pattern to cover the shoulders and a touch of fantasy with very graphic hair.

A participation by duo is necessary!
One pair for two profiles. A profile that becomes a self-portrait. Frontality, bust in the Italian style, tight framing, sharpness of the line, landscape low-angle are the ingredients of this tribute to Odette Pauvert.
Playful and sensitive discoveries with the family in the company of a mediator - from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
In the exhibition halls. No pre-registration.
Show "TU, LEI & IO" by Compagnie Gipsy Raw – Sun. 23 Nov at 3 p.m. (Bassin)
Duration 45 minutes. No prior registration.
This Franco-Italian company, through an infernal trio of dancers offers a burlesque journey where dance, acrobatics and circus combine to celebrate "this child’s soul always present in each of us".
Guided tour - from 2 p.m. onwards (adults):
Duration 1h. Registration at the museum reception 30 minutes before the departure of the visits, within the limits of available places.
Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November, departures at: 14h – 14h30 – 15h15 – 15h45 and 16h30.
Access to the exhibitions & workshops is FREE for those under 18 years old and accompanying adults.

La Piscine is coming to the cinema!
To launch the Weekend Splash! The museum and the Mégarama cinema in Roubaix are joining forces for a morning specially dedicated to families.
Saturday, November 22, the projection of the film Hopper and the secret of the marmot at the Mégarama will exceptionally be preceded by an animation inspired by the stained glass of the basin that slipped into the film.

Les 22 et 23 novembre 2025, La Piscine vous invite à découvrir en famille l'exposition évènement Odette Pauvert. La peinture pour ambition au temps de l’Art déco
Injustement oubliée, Odette Pauvert (1903-1966) connaît dans les Années folles une ascension fulgurante. Elle est en 1925 la première femme à obtenir le Grand Prix de Rome en peinture, consécration suprême pour tout artiste se destinant à une carrière officielle. Cette exposition suit l’itinéraire singulier d’une artiste qui, de Paris à Rome en passant par l’Espagne ou la Grèce, poursuit pendant toute sa carrière une ambition résolument classique et décorative.

Ateliers de pratiques artistiques - de 14h à 17h30 (2e étage) :
Chaque atelier est préalablement accompagné d’une sensibilisation par les œuvres. Pas d’inscription préalable, dans la limite des places disponibles.

Un portrait bien de face pour la frontalité. Un contour net et précis pour le visage. Un cadrage serré pour un buste à l’italienne. Un travail coloré sur le motif pour couvrir les épaules et une pointe de fantaisie avec une chevelure très graphique.

Une participation par duo est nécessaire !
Un binôme pour deux profils. Un profil qui devient un autoportrait. Frontalité, buste à l’italienne, cadrage serré, netteté de la ligne, paysage en contre-plongée sont les ingrédients de cet hommage à Odette Pauvert.
Découvertes ludiques et sensibles en famille en compagnie d’un médiateur - de 15h à 17h

Spectacle « TU, LEI & IO » de la Compagnie Gipsy Raw – Dim. 23 nov. à 15h (Bassin)
Durée 45 minutes. Pas d’inscription préalable.
Cette compagnie franco-italienne, à travers un trio infernal de danseurs propose un périple burlesque où danse, acrobatie et cirque s’allient pour célébrer « cette âme d’enfant toujours présente en chacun de nous ».

Durée 1h. Inscription à l’accueil du musée 30 mins avant le départ des visites, dans la limite des places disponibles.

La Piscine s'invite au cinéma !
Pour lancer le Week-end Splash ! le musée et le cinéma Mégarama de Roubaix s'associent pour une matinée spécialement dédiée aux familles.
Samedi 22 novembre, la projection du film Hopper et le secret de la marmotte au Mégarama sera exceptionnellement précédée d'une animation inspirée par le vitrail du bassin qui s'est glissé dans le film.

Op 22 en 23 november 2025 nodigt het zwembad u uit om met uw gezin het evenement te ontdekken Odette Pauvert. Schilderen voor ambitie ten tijde van Art Deco
Ten onrechte vergeten, Odette Pauvert (1903-1966) kent in de gekke jaren een duizelingwekkende beklimming. In 1925 was ze de eerste vrouw die de Grand Prix de Rome won in de schilderkunst, een opperste verbondenheid voor elke kunstenaar die voorbestemd was voor een officiële carrière. Deze tentoonstelling volgt de bijzondere route van een kunstenaar die, van Parijs tot Rome via Spanje of Griekenland, gedurende haar hele carrière een resoluut klassieke en decoratieve ambitie nastreeft.

Workshops van artistieke praktijken - van 14 tot 5,30 uur (2e verdieping):
Elke workshop wordt vooraf begeleid door een bewustzijn van de werken. Geen voorafgaande registratie, binnen de grenzen van beschikbare plaatsen.
-> Frontaliteit verzekerd - vanaf de leeftijd van 4 jaar
Een face-to-face portret voor frontaliteit. Een scherpe en nauwkeurige contour voor het gezicht. Een strakke lijst voor een Italiaanse buste. Een kleurrijk werk aan het patroon om de schouders te bedekken en een chique hint met een zeer grafisch haar.

Eén deelname per duo is vereist!
Eén paar voor twee profielen. Een profiel dat een zelfportret wordt. Frontality, Italiaanse buste, strakke compositie, scherpte van de lijn, laag-duiklandschap zijn de ingrediënten van dit eerbetoon aan Odette Pauvert.
Speelse en gevoelige ontdekkingen in de familie in het gezelschap van een bemiddelaar - van 15u tot 17u..

Dit Frans-Italiaanse gezelschap biedt, via een heldhaftig danserijtje, een burlesque reis aan waar dans, acrobatiek en circus samenkomen om "de ziel van dit kind altijd aanwezig in ieder van ons" te vieren.
Rondleidingen - vanaf 14h (volwassenen):
Duur 1 uur Registratie bij de museumreceptie 30 minuten voor vertrek van de rondleidingen, afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid van plaatsen.
Zaterdag 22 en zondag 23 november, vertrek om: 14u – 14U30 – 15U15 – 15U45 en 16U30.
Toegang tot tentoonstellingen en workshops is GRATIS voor kinderen jonger dan 18 jaar en de begeleide volwassene.

Het zwembad nodigt u uit in de bioscoop!
Om de te starten Weekend Splash! Het museum en de Mégarama bioscoop van Roubaix bundelen hun krachten voor een ochtend speciaal gewijd aan gezinnen.
Zaterdag 22 november , de projectie van de film Hopper en het geheim van de marmot Bij de Mégarama wordt uitzonderlijk voorafgegaan door een animatie geïnspireerd door het glas-in-loodramen van het bassin dat in de film gleed.
