AI and Society Week 2026: Towards responsible use?
A week of lectures featuring around twenty speakers from a variety of backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of perspectives on the subject of artificial intelligence

Every year in September, the partners of the TIARe project at the University of Rennes organise an event that has become a major fixture: the ‘AI and Society: Towards Responsible Use’ week.
Originally designed for students, this week-long initiative to raise awareness of the ethical, environmental and technological issues surrounding AI is taking a new step forward and is now open to the general public! Whether you’re a beginner or an enthusiast, come and explore the opportunities, as well as the biases and challenges, of this technology that is transforming our daily lives.
On the programme: accessible talks led by leading researchers. Together, we’ll examine the impact of AI in various fields such as:

Chaque année en septembre, les partenaires du projet TIARe l'Université de Rennes organisent un rendez-vous devenu majeur : la semaine « IA et société : vers des usages responsables ».
Initialement pensée pour les étudiants, cette semaine de sensibilisation aux enjeux éthiques, environnementaux et technologiques de l'IA franchit une nouvelle étape et ouvre désormais ses portes au grand public ! Que vous soyez novice ou passionné, venez explorer les opportunités, mais aussi les biais et les défis de cette technologie qui transforme notre quotidien.
