‘Dans ton club’ takes you somewhere else – and this time, it’s a proper trip back in time. Head back to the 80s and 90s, every other Saturday night, when all the young people from the region would turn up in droves at a village hall between Terre Sainte and Rolle.
No social media, no need for it: on Wednesdays, the posters were put up in the villages, and everyone already knew that Saturday would be legendary. Ten francs on the door, and up to a thousand people packed onto the same dance floor.
This travelling disco was a sound you recognised even before you went in, a poster you knew by heart, a night you’d been looking forward to all week. A whole generation of Nyon residents took their first dance steps and got up to their first shenanigans there.
L’Usine à Gaz is bringing it back to life for one night. Same energy, same memories, new dancefloor.
Gone are the old routines: the clubbing scene is coming to L’Usine à Gaz, driven by collectives rooted in electronic music and everything it has pioneered since. A new generation of nights, with the same thirst for dancing as ever.
