It is in Fonds Saint Denis, in the North of Martinique that Léon TISGRA created in 1998 the first organic farm in Martinique. In 2017, the association of the Domaine de la Chabet was born, which aims to promote and make organic agriculture accessible to all. The association concentrates its activities around different axes that each contribute to federate the organic sector and value the territory of Martinique. Healthy and local food is one of our priorities! It sets up fun and educational activities for schools and the general public in order to disseminate knowledge about agriculture and the preservation of our natural heritage. We implement it from our actions of pedagogy, popularization, transmission by the establishment of private or shared gardens, for individuals or professionals. Finally, we carry out actions to federate and develop the local organic sector.
