Fondation de Coubertin
Domaine de Coubertin 78470 Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse
The Fondation de Coubertin was born from the meeting of Yvonne de Coubertin, niece of Pierre de Coubertin, and Jean Bernard, son of the sculptor Joseph Bernard. In a historic site of the Coubertin family, a center of general, cultural, artistic and professional training is proposed for a promotion of 40 craftsmen who perfect their know-how in the Ateliers Saint-Jacques and the Fonderie de Coubertin. At the same time, the founders wanted to develop a heritage space, the Jardin des Bronzes, which was created in 1983\. A veritable open-air museum, a collection of sculptures from the end of the 19th century to the present day allow you to discover the history of art and stroll through nature.
