À propos du lieu

Maison du parc naturel régional du Morvan
530 route de Saulieu 58230 SAINT-BRISSON

The house of the park in Saint-Brisson is an area of 40 hectares, open to the public that includes both the headquarters of the Morvan Regional Natural Park, two museums, a multitude of educational facilities, a herbularium, a regional nature reserve, a bistro, as well as the Tourism House of the Morvan Regional Natural Park.
It is located in the former property of the «castle» of Saint-Brisson, dating from the early nineteenth century. The gardens are in part due to the Count of Choulot, famous landscaper of the nineteenth century. The property was then remodelled in the early 1930s before becoming the seat of the Morvan Regional Nature Park in 1975.
