Parc du Windeck à Ottrott
51 rue Principale 67530 Ottrott
The Park covers an old Seigneurerie called Windeck acquired in 1834 from the heirs of the De Pascalis family by Colonel Laurent-Atthalin. His son-in-law Armand Théodore De Dartein realized, according to a long plan, a park where successive massive trees, large meadows, water features with beautiful views of the house, the village and Mont Sainte-Odile. The expansion and development of this English garden (10 ha) were continued by Léon Renouard De Bussière. This park incorporates ancient elements: the Hoff (prehistoric site), the ruin of the Altkeller (12th century), the mansion (18th century). The walk, under cover of large trees lets us discover exotic subjects and large trees from America, Asia and Europe.
