74 rue de saint gratien 93800 epinay sur seine
- Seine-Saint-Denis
- Île-de-France
Natural area of 1.5 hectares, intended to protect biodiversity in the heart of Épinay-sur-Seine, unique and unprecedented in Seine-Saint-Denis. The ecological reserve consists of:
* a meadow and a chicken coop open to all,
* beehives, 18 family gardens (reserved for residents) and a large shared garden of 600 square meters managed by a local association, with restricted access,
* of a wood, the center of the reserve and the huge bush prohibited to the public to protect the fauna and flora.
The site is an ideal place for the development of fauna and flora. Fruit trees were planted in reference to the agricultural past of the territory. And you can observe three remarkable species: the graceful conocephalic (grasshopper), the blue-eyed naiad (dragonfly) and the hedgehog, protected throughout Europe since 2007.
The reserve is equipped with a wooden walkway and preaux to shelter you in case of rain and a wet area installed at the entrance of the park.
