Discovery visit of an English garden near Besançon
Discover the floral garden «Le bouquet d'aquarelles» in Pouilley-les-Vignes.
This 2,500 m2 garden, in the heart of the village, will allow lovers of plants and flowers to visit an English garden, composed of many massifs imagined as colorful paintings, inspired by its watercolourist owner. The visit takes place as a walk to discover more than 500 varieties of perennials: peonies, daylilies, hostas, yucca, clematis, many fragrant plants and 150 old, modern and climbing roses. This beautiful blend blends harmoniously in the shade of majestic trees and original and fragrant shrubs, with colors changing with the seasons.
An aviary housing ornamental ducks, carolins and mandarins, will attract the curiosity of adults and children.
During the walk, the contemplation of a pretty romantic and rustling pond, animated by aquatic plants and goldfish, will offer visitors a moment of rest.
To finish this visit, a curious and greedy look at the vegetable garden will give desires to cook.
An exhibition of watercolours by the owner will take place outdoors, weather permitting.
The garden is open during the 3 days of «Rendez-vous aux jardins 2024».
During the year, the garden can be visited by appointment until September on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. To register for these tours, contact 07 66 11 25 60 or mfblondeau@free.fr
